We have several concerns with this service; the first is that you cannot find out the possible terms of your loan until after you apply and secondly, we are not sure about their level of security.

WeGiveCash uses several lenders, which is not a problem, but they advertise a fee of $10 per $100 but it can vary according to the lender. Beyond this, fees and interest information is not related upfront, only after submitting an application. We feel that borrowers can make a better choice about what service they want to use if they can compare fees beforehand.

We did not submit an application because we were not comfortable with the security of the site. They post a “Hacker Safe” logo on their site and they mention that their site is secured by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 128–bit encryption technology, but we didn’t see the “s” in their URL address after the “http” to indicate that the page was secure.
